This Women’s History Month, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible women — past and present — who have shaped Downtown Lansing. Now, it’s your turn to find them!
Here's how it works:
1. Pick up a clue sheet at any participating retailer, or download one at thenelsongallery.com/historic-women-of-washington-square

2. Use the clues to find photos of eight wonderful women displayed in shops along the 100 and 200 blocks of South Washington Square. To help you out, there will be a poster in the shop’s window that marks it as a scavenger hunt stop.
3. Get your sheet stamped at each stop.
4. Once you've found them all, turn in your completed sheet at Nelson Gallery by March 31!
Prizes! The first 50 participants to finish receive an umbrella.
All completed entries will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize gift basket featuring goodies from Washington Square retailers.
