Opening Reception: Playing With Linocuts by The Lansing Area Printmakers Collective (Lino Ladies)

Join us for an opening reception to kick off our largest collaborative exhibition yet: “Playing With Linocuts,” featuring pieces from the Lansing Area Printmakers Collective (also known as the Lino Ladies). We’ll hear from some of the artists themselves to discuss their process and inspiration to reveal the stories behind their art.

Combining work from seven talented artists, this exhibition explores linocut printmaking through bold, inventive methods, blending color, texture, and mixed media to extend their pieces beyond tradition. From fabric printing, to encaustic monoprints, to handmade books and expressive collages, each artist brings a unique voice to this collective story. Discover the depth and diversity of their work as individual styles flow together in one powerful, unified exhibit.
