Warfighters United is proud to announce the Brothers After War Veterans Workshop, taking place Saturday, August 16 from 1–5 PM at the VFW National Home, located at 3573 S Waverly Rd in Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
This powerful event is centered around the screening of Brothers After War, a documentary produced by acclaimed actor and Veterans advocate Gary Sinise. The film tells the true story of seven combat Veterans and their journey of resilience, recovery, and brotherhood.
Following the screening, attendees will take part in a workshop that addresses the unique challenges Veterans face after returning home — including PTSD, navigating the VA system, and finding purpose after service. The seminar will feature guest speakers, peer support, and access to organizations offering critical resources for Veterans and their families.
“This is about more than just a film,” said Joanie Kilchermann, Co-Founder of Warfighters United. “It’s about creating space for Veterans to be seen, heard, and supported in real ways.”
The event is free and open to Veterans, active-duty military, family members, and anyone interested in better understanding and supporting those who serve.
Join us as we come together to honor the sacrifice, share the struggle, and support the healing of our nation’s heroes.
