Generations in the Workplace

There are currently five generations in the workplace including Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z. Each generation brings its unique style and work needs to an organization. So how can we manage our expectations of one another and remain a productive team? 

In this training, we will review generalizations about each generation and better assess ourselves, our needs, and how to work effectively with those who differ from our style. Traditionalists and Baby Boomers are leaving the workforce and the workplace landscape is changing as we navigate a digitally enhanced world. Is your organization prepared for the intellectual knowledge and experience gap? 

Feliz Rodriguez, diversity, equity and inclusion director, Ingham County, will talk about best practices we can incorporate to solidify our succession plans and ease transition. This presentation is suitable for anyone who works in a cross-generational team.
