Join us at the Lansing Economic Club on Thursday, June 5th for an inspiring fireside chat with Michael Garland, former assistant MSU basketball coach and founder of Champions of the Heart. Michael will share his life-changing story of survival after suffering cardiac arrest in 2022, when two brave Good Samaritans saved his life through CPR. Through his foundation, Michael is dedicated to providing hands-only CPR training, CPR manikins, and AEDs to the community. He will also discuss the lessons from his new book AGOGE, which explores Tom Izzo's Spartan training philosophy and its application to achieving high performance in both basketball and life. The conversation will be moderated by WILX Anchor Ann Emmerich.
