Michigan’s 8th Congressional District Representative will discuss a broad range of topics during an upcoming Public Policy Forum held by the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC). We welcome Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin to the forum, which takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Country Club of Lansing.
Congresswoman Slotkin will address a wide range of issues during the form, including infrastructure, budget reconciliation talks, Afghanistan, the Covid-19 pandemic, and others. She will also be taking questions from the audience.
About Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin
After a career serving in the CIA and senior national security advisors to two presidents, Elissa Slotkin ran in 2018 to represent Michigan’s 8th district in Congress, which includes Ingham County (Lansing, East Lansing, Meridian Township), all of Livingston County (Brighton and Howell) and North Oakland County (Holly, Clarkston, Rochester and Rochester Hills). In 2020, Slotkin won re-election, bringing her mission-focused, Midwestern pragmatism to the House of Representatives for a second term. Congresswoman Slotkin serves on the House Armed Services Committee, the House Veterans Affairs Committee, and the House Committee on Homeland Security.
