Job/Internship Description	A Direct Care Staff member in an Adult Foster Care (AFC) home provides daily support and supervision to residents with physical, developmental, or mental health needs. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care (such as bathing, dressing, and grooming), preparing meals, administering or reminding residents about medications, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and supporting residents’ emotional well-being. The role also involves documenting care, following individualized service plans, and promoting residents’ independence and quality of life.

Qualifications	A qualified applicant must be 18 years of age, or older; have the ability to pass a background check, be willing to become CPR certified along with other necessary state mandated trainings all of which are provided by the company. Candidates should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and reliability. Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is important.
