Thursday, December 4, 2025 (10:00 AM - 2:30 PM) (EST)
Description
Join us for the annual Michigan Partners in Crisis update, held in-person, at the beautiful Heritage Hall at the State Capitol Building. The theme is, Supporting Juvenile Justice & Youth Mental Health. Our topics will include challenges and opportunities for building youth justice systems, powerful parent-told stories on their experience with their children in the mental health system, and a discussion around the office of recipient rights audit and the results from the Auditor General. A delicious seasonal lunch is included. MCBAP and social CE will be available.
Michigan Partners in Crisis is a coalition of organizations and jurists dedicated to enhancing access to quality, clinically appropriate treatment and support services and settings for children and adults experiencing emotional disorders and mental illnesses. This coalition seeks mechanisms that reduce the over-reliance on the criminal justice system as a response to mental illness and emotional disorders, while preserving the well-being and safety of consumers, families and the general public.
