Across the U.S., people lose more than $10 Billion each year to scams. Our community isn’t immune to the impact. In 2024:

• A Lansing woman reported  losing $500,000 in a tech support scam.
• A person from Dewitt lost $1,500 and a lot of their time in a data entry job scam

These are just a couple of the many examples we hear of every day.

The Better Business Bureau knows the personal impact these loses have for families, and the impact is has on our marketplace when that money goes to criminals instead of local businesses.

Your support of the BBB Educational Foundation (501c3) is helping protect the most vulnerable in our community. Our free fraud presentations in schools and senior centers give people the tools and resources to avoid these scams before they lose their money.

Our BBB Educational Foundation Golf Outings help raise critical funds to support and expand these programs in the community, and keep them free to all who attend.

New This Year- All players receive the games package as part of their registration at no additional cost. This includes the $10,000 Hole in One Contest, Mulligans, Dice Game and all other on-course games (Golf Ball Cannon not available for this event due to course restrictions).

$700 per foursome includes golf, lunch, mulligans, all course games and contests, and the awards reception following the event.
