The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission (Tri-County) is hosting a virtual input session to collect feedback from community partners and stakeholder organizations on the draft 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). All representatives in Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties of sectors impacted by transportation – including economic and community development, environmental issues, housing, health and public safety, local and state planning, and advocacy of our most vulnerable populations – are invited to share input on the draft document.
Join us on Zoom on Tuesday, December 9th, from noon to 1:30 p.m. All registrants will receive a direct link to Zoom prior to the meeting following your RSVP.
The MTP outlines planning programs and services designed to enhance mobility, as well as investments targeting regional infrastructure priorities over the next 25 years. At this virtual stakeholder input session, Tri-County staff will present a brief overview highlighting key goals and strategies of the plan. Participants will have opportunities to provide live feedback, ask questions, submit public comments, and access educational materials about the MTP, which is titled Moving-Mid Michigan. Materials will also be made available at movingmidmichigan.org/mediacenter.
Contact events@mitcrpc.org for assistance with registration or special accommodations; requests for interpretation and assistance for persons with disabilities should be made at least five business days in advance of the meeting date.
